Almost Manic was born out of a simple yet powerful idea: to create high-quality apparel with a purpose. The concept first took shape in 2020, during a time of uncertainty and reflection. While I had always been passionate about designing apparel—creating one-off pieces for friends, family, and events—I felt that something was missing. The work lacked deeper meaning, a true purpose beyond just making designs.

As I refined the vision, the name Almost Manic resonated deeply. It captured the feeling that so many people experience—navigating life’s chaos, pushing through challenges, and striving to find balance. I knew this had to be more than just an apparel brand. It needed to stand for something greater.

Defining the Brand

For five years, Almost Manic remained an idea that I couldn’t shake. While many creative concepts come and go, this one persisted. I continuously refined the branding and mission I wanted it to have. The turning point came while flying back to the East Coast—a moment of clarity where the vision fully came together. Almost Manic was no longer just an idea.

At its core, Almost Manic is about more than apparel. It’s about fostering a community that supports mental health through physical activity and connection. A portion of proceeds will be dedicated to mental health organizations, ensuring that every purchase contributes to meaningful change.

A Vision for the Future

Success for Almost Manic extends far beyond selling apparel. The long-term vision is to cultivate a strong, engaged community that connects through sport and shared experiences. Whether through group runs, cycling, hiking, or open discussions about mental health, Almost Manic will serve as a platform to support one another and access valuable resources.
